Terms of Use

Last updated: July 24, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or otherwise using Timellio (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. Description of Service

Timellio provides scheduling, student progress tracking, billing, and related tools for independent tutors and their students' observers. Features and availability may vary by plan and may change over time.

3. Accounts and Roles

The Service supports three account types: Teacher, Observer, and Administrator. Teachers are responsible for the accuracy of student and booking data they enter, and for inviting observer accounts using accurate email addresses. Observer accounts are provisioned automatically when a teacher links an observer's email address and that observer signs in for the first time.

4. Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly basis. Plan changes, upgrades, downgrades, and expirations are reflected in your account and may be adjusted by Timellio administrators where necessary to resolve billing issues. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. AI Assistant Feature

The optional AI Assistant feature sends student session ratings and free-text reports you have entered to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) in order to generate summaries and suggestions. This feature is only active if you have connected your own API key, and any usage costs charged by the AI provider are your responsibility. You may disconnect your key at any time from Settings.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to store or transmit unlawful content, to attempt to access another user's account or data without authorization, or to interfere with the normal operation of the Service.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Timellio is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
